SHAME: NIGERIAN ON A RAPE SPREE IN MOZAMBIQUE



A Nigerian national has been accused of raping eight teenagers aged between 10 and 15 years in Mozambique's capital Maputo, local media reported.
According to the independent daily O Pais, the Nigerian, identified only as Valentine, raped at least 13 teenagers, but some cases were not reported to the authorities.
According to the newspaper, the suspect routinely lured his victims with money to a quiet section of the city at night.


It added that the issue came to light after some families embarked on a search for their missing children.
The children had reportedly missed several days of school.
A court is expected to rule on the matter and it found guilty, the Nigerian will be jailed in Mozambique
The Mozambican penal code prescribes a jail term of between eight and 12 years for rapists.
