Taiwo Akinlami, Valentine Nkwo , others educate students at the second edition of the C.A.R.E workshop


Taiwo Akinlami,, Mr. Adeniran  (Representing the  Attorney General and Commisioner for Justice Lagos State), Mrs Omotola Rotimi (Director, Office of the Public Defender), Valentina Peter-Nkwo (Mirabel Center),  CSP Monday Agbonika, others were all present at the the second edition of the College Acquaintance Rape Education Workshop on the 18th of March at the Government Senior Girls College , Agege  to sensitize, enlighten, encourage and educate primary and secondary school students in Lagos state on Rape.

College Acquaintance Rape Education (C.A.R.E) is a follow up plan for the annual Walk Against Rape Campaign.  It’s one of the central elements of our fight against the growing trend of RAPE culture in primary and Secondary Schools. It’s a RAPE prevention workshop led by trained Peer educators, who have massive experience on gender relations, socialization, dating violence and sexual violence prevention says the National Coordinator ; Esther Ijewere-Kalejaiye

 The maiden edition kicked off on the 18th of February at the Adeyemi Bero Hall Alausa, Ikeja.  C.A.R.E  is a three months sensitizing workshop that will be organized in the six education district in Lagos
