Three accused persons, Akinpolu Ayobami, 20; Oseni
Buli, 20; and Sunday Oyedeji, 29; on Monday appeared at a Modakeke Magistrates’
Court for allegedly defiling a 16-year old girl.
Prosecutor, Ona Glory, told the court that they
committed the offence at 8 p.m. at Oke-dio Area, Modakeke in Ife North-East
Local Government of Osun on May 9.
Mr. Glory said the accused persons were arraigned on
a two-count charge of conspiracy and unlawful carnal knowledge of the girl.
He said the accused persons conspired and lured the
16-year-old into an uncompleted building where they defiled her.
He told the court the offence contravened Section
357 of the Criminal Code Cap 34 Vol 11, Laws of Osun, 2003.
The accused persons pleaded not guilty to the
charges.
The Magistrate, Bose Awosan, granted each of the
accused bail in the sum of N50,000 with one surety each in like sum.
Mrs. Awosan adjourned the case for hearing.
