Walk Against Rape Nigeria , the organisation founded to continuously help in raising awareness of sexual violence, its prevalence and effects and in particular highlight the importance and need for appropriate high quality and specialised support for survivors unveils the first of its kind handbook in Nigeria titled “BREAKING THE SILENCE” written by the National Coordinator Esther Ijewere-Kalejaiye

The  handbook will educate and sensitise the society on sexual abuse, the importance of reporting rape cases, where to get help, who to talk to , helplines to call and other vital information on rape and sexual abuse, the book  is a “must have” for everyone; Parents, Guardians, Teachers, Students (secondary and tertiary institution.  The book is available in major bookshops and malls  across the country and it can also be purchased online.
